Looking ahead to 2015

HERE’S A QUICK UPDATE ON SOME OF THE THINGS YOU CAN LOOK FORWARD TO AT THE KING’S CENTRE IN 2015.

Our very popular Toy Library and Clothes Swap will continue on Tuesday mornings during the term time. These sessions aren’t just about toys and clothes but also meeting other parents and building relationships with others in the local community.

We will also be continuing with the Computer Drop In on Tuesday afternoons, 12:30-2:30. These sessions have proved very fruitful in helping people get to grips with basic IT skills and navigating the world wide web.

Along side the Computer Drop In we will also be starting a Job Club in January on Tuesday afternoons, aimed at people who need help with looking for work, writing CVs, interview technique  etc. Watch this space for more information.

We will also be running a couple of new courses in 2015. The Happiness Course  which will be looking at what makes us truly happy and a CAP Money Course  which teaches money management and budgeting. More details and dates to follow.

And finally, don’t forget our regular fEAsT  meal – the time when all the King’s Centre users get together and have a fantastic fEAsT
